The FARMM Lab is partnered with Holzraum System to explore how to integrate Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) into architectural teaching and practice. DfMA helps move architectural production off-site to factories with higher quality control, less material waste and faster production speeds.

Steve Hessler is delivering a three-part workshop series to help AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) professionals understand DfMA's potential and strategies for implementing it within their practices. The sessions qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) with  the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Passive House Institute of the United States (PHIUS).
